Curriculum Vitae and References

Professor Christian Langbein brings over two decades of experience advising on national and international corporate transactions, with a sharp focus on the pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare sectors.

Following his legal studies at the University of Augsburg and earning a Master of Laws in Mergers & Acquisitions, he began his career as in-house counsel at Agilent Technologies, Hewlett-Packard, and Merkle/ratiopharm. He later went on to co-found and lead a prominent boutique law firm specializing in M&A and antitrust law, serving as Managing Partner and establishing a reputation for high-impact legal execution in complex transactions.

In parallel to his transactional work, Professor Langbein holds a faculty position at the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU), where he lectures on corporate law and finance, further solidifying his academic and practical credentials.

Since 2020, Professor Langbein has served as a senior advisor with ConAlliance, focusing exclusively on transaction advisory and corporate finance mandates. While he retains his legal license, his work at ConAlliance is strictly commercial in nature, underscoring his strategic advisory orientation rather than legal execution.

His transactional track record spans the full range of deal types - traditional trade sales, private equity and venture capital financings, joint ventures, and full-scale mergers. He has led transaction teams across multiple jurisdictions, demonstrating deep domain expertise and a practical command of the deal process from term sheet to close.
